In 2011 Three Gates Gallery was created from Fiona Lawrenson’s long held passion for decorative antiques and their use in the modern day home.
Fiona comes from a strong design background in landscape design. She is a triple Gold medal winner at Chelsea Flower Show and has two international design awards. Her passion for show gardens really led her into the world of styling. Working for many years with architects on prestigious projects she found her eye for scale and detail could be transferred to interiors and became involved with styling and finishing projects.
Now working with Fiona, Jane Geoghegan brings not only her expertise from a marketing media background specialising in home interest magazines, but her skills as a photographer, which has very much influenced the look and feel of our website.
Three Gates Gallery sets out to inform, inspire and give confidence. It’s not just about the antiques, but it’s how you use them, display them and make your house a home.
Meet our four legged friends who you will see making occasional appearances on this website.
Pumpkin also belongs to Fiona and is an 8 year old Border Terrier cross who loves to sit on your feet.
Rocket is Jane’s 6 year old Border Terrier. He is easy going, likes a quiet life and loves to chase rabbits.
And finally…the van
Fiona’s 16 year old van was originally bought for her gardening business. It has now found a new lease of life as an invaluable work horse for Three Gates Gallery. It recently had its first valet for 7 years and we quite miss the dust on the dashboard and lichen that used to coat its paintwork. On the hottest days in the summer we have to have the heater on to cool the engine and not long ago we found tax disks in the glove box dating back to the 1990s!
