Thank goodness spring has sprung, I was starting to feel quite desperate after the winter weather.

I thought I would bring my own touch of spring into the house with bulbs and by using different items to plant them in. My collection of vintage French Ironstone soup terrines seemed ideal. I planted them with grape hyacinths, snakehead fritillaria, and small narcissus ‘minnow’, topped with moss that I took from my own lawn! These lovely little bulbs last longer than freshly cut flowers and they are definitely a talking point!
